………SUBMISSION………Ok…I give up!

SUBMISSION:  Ok..I give up!  I give in.  I quit.  Is this submission?  Yes… but only if you’re being tortured, beaten up, or threatened.  But, if you mean to say that you’re giving into your boss to accept a new position in a far away state; or maybe you finally are giving in to your fiancé to move the wedding date up a few months. Or, it could be that you have “finally” determined that you want to “turn your life” over to Our Lord Jesus Christ.  The first is unlikely, the later is inevitable.  Committing to a new career opportunity is very important and requires that you be willing to give 110%.  Turning your life over to God, well…it’s even more important, because it is a “forever” commitment.  The impact of submission in either scenario is still a bit earth-chattering, especially if you’re sincere and willing to dedicate your life to its fulfillment. James 4:7  says:  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  ….…cjlb..7/24/13 (charlesbrooks.com)
