“…And, very importantly, did we give “part of ourselves” to the other person; or set good examples for others to follow…?

Image result for caricature of mother teresaIMPACT? What did you do… today, that changed, or impacted someone’s life? Better yet…what did I do? Are we agents of change? I’m not talking about negative changes, rather…changes for good…things that had a positive effect on those around us, or those that look to us for guidance and support.

Did we make someone smile, or laugh….that would be a good thing? Did we make someone feel good about themselves? And, very importantly, did we give “part of ourselves” to the other person; or set good examples for others to follow? Did we give or seek reconciliation? Did we ease the pain or suffering of the oppressed? Did we help a co-worker, an employee, or family member further their career; or help them resolve important issues in their career, or life?

Did we do as God commanded us to do….to LOVE our neighbor….to place no other gods before Him?

Mark 12:30-31 tells us – “AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.” “The second is this, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

We are asleep at the wheel… if we allow “time and circumstance” to come between us and those we love and hold dear, and those whose life, and livelihood…. depend on our Leadership. Whose life have you impacted lately….?

…..Blessings …cjlb… 11/10/15
