“…He, satan… dresses up in his Sunday best, and presents  sin as being beautiful, and so inviting.  I KNOW…”

“HELP!  I have fallen and I can’t get up.”  Ok…well, not exactly.  I should say …my life is a wreck and I don’t what to do about it.  I admit… I give up.  I need help in a bad way.   Well, as Winston Churchill would say… NEVER, NEVER give up.  Help is just around the corner.

Maybe you’ve NEVER been there.  Maybe you’ve been close to the EDGE… like me, any number of times.  Maybe, you waited a tad too long to seek HELP, and off the edge you went.   And YES.  I’ve flirted with satan a few times too many and have gotten by tail BURNED.  He, satan has a way of sucking you in sometimes.

I’ve discovered that he can give you the feeling that God is on your side, but it turns out to be the worldly god that is to say… satan.  If you give him a foot-hold, he will turn it into a strangle-hold.   He makes you feel like he is the only one that can help you.   He dresses up in his Sunday best, and presents  sin as being beautiful, and so inviting.  I KNOW!

How does one get out of that spiraling whirl-wind tunnel of sin?  There is only one way in… and, ONLY ONE WAY OUT.  We are SUCKED in by satan… and Jesus, Our Lord God, Son of the Living Father will “LOVE us out.”  We are told in Mark 11:22-24 – Have faith in God, Jesus said to them.  Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain,  Be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

It takes COMPLETE, and utter SURRENDER to the passionate LOVE of Jesus Christ.  He has saved me, and He will save you.  He will SAVE all that ask for His help.  I have asked, any number of times… and I’m better for it.  God may send, or place someone in our path to help push us along.  It could be in the form of one’s spouse, co-worker, minister,  or heck… even ME.  But, more likely… the Holy Spirit.

Admitting when you need help is solving half of the problem.  Accepting help… is another forth, and following the help givers instructions is the other forth.  John Donne said, No man is an island unto himself… needs no further clarification here.

Two insights that I’ve always tried to go by are: If I cannot control an issue, I don’t allow myself to worry over it.  I move on to the reality of it all.  Another is: recognizing when I have expended my personal skill sets, and knowing when to seek help from those more capable.  I KNOW when I can’t do something, and don’t waste time and money trying the impossible. I consider the wiser.  The WISER is always God.

That’s what experts are for rather a messenger from God…or God Himself.  Our problems become His… and He can, and will be HEAL us… by our SURRENDER, and our complete FAITH in Jesus Christ, as being our Savior, the one who died on the cross from our sins; the CONFESSION of our sins, and the fullness of our energy to SIN no more.

Solomon tells us in Psalm 107:19-20Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction.
