CHOICE: Remember this: Good and evil buy their clothing at the same store. Which means… we can’t tell the difference from one to the other. They all look, for the most part…a like.
We are told in John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit.” We cannot not allow ourselves the luxury of being “undecided.” We MUST choose between right and wrong …good and evil. 1 Kings 18:21 – “How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.”
We all have an inner-voice that guides us along…why not follow that voice? Too often, though, we turn a “deaf ear,” to WISDOM. The “very first” voice we hear in our “internal system,” is Mr. Good talking to us… trying to guide us to do right. Good and Evil are pulling against each other… both seeking our attention and cooperation. It’s our CHOICE.
Don’t be “lukewarm,” as God does not like the person who takes the “middle road.” He tells us in Revelations 3:15-16 – ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. ‘So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
All levels of management, or leaders, are good some of the time, and some are “no good” all of the time. We must learn the difference, and to follow the good source; as God chose each of us for a specific purpose….His purpose; so must we chose Him.
