OK… LOOSEN UP: Don’t take life so serious. Have a little fun. I’m saying there’s a time and place for everything, rather its hard work… or play. Let the good times roll. As a reminder of …there is a “time for everything” found in….
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 – There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Sure, take your job… your business as SERIOUS as you possibly can, but, don’t let it obsess you to such an extent… that you can’t lay down the shovel and go home for the weekend. You’ve heard the expression… All work, and no play, makes Charley a dull boy.
Becoming obsessed with work and career, could be detrimental to your marriage, your children… and even your spiritual life. A guy who is happy at home is happy at work, and by keeping both well balanced; he will have a more sustained and successful career.
Think about this… allowing “worldly conditions and issues” to come FIRST in one’s life… spells TROUBLE. The proper order… should be… God… Family…Job… Others… one’s self. Any other order becomes the breeding ground for… DIS-ORDER.
Ecclesiastes 2:24 – There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God.
