“…..and He let’s us live rent free….”

Monopoly vs. God:  We all know the conventional game of Monopoly; where the objective is to get as much real estate on the Boardwalk as possible, and then collect rent on it, so as to throw the opponent into bankruptcy.  So, in the end, the guy with the most money is the winner.  That’s the name of the game in our own capitalistic society… winner takes all.  Typically the winner shows “no mercy” on the loser; so it is in the game of real life, as well.  But, when we play Monopoly with God, we win, even though we, as sinners, lose.  The reason is that God is all merciful.  While we don’t deserve it, and can never repay Him, He, because he loves us, enough so, that He died on the cross for our sins….and He will be merciful on us, and let us live rent-free, even though we have spent our inheritance.  Exodus 34:6-7 – And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” …Blessings…cjlb…9/22/13
