“…At my age…life is a bit like a “roll of toilet paper” …the closer it gets to the end of the roll… the faster it goes…”

Live life like… ‘There is NO tomorrow.’  Um… to me, it would be living life a bit on the edge.

My son recently shared with me… that his Minister said recently… during his Sunday Sermon….. “Some of you in this Church, today, have seen your last Easter….. You just don’t know it.”

W-O-W…I thought to myself.  I have already lost 5-6 friends so far this year….and yes, they have seen their last Easter.  They’re falling like flies…so it seems.  It’s making me a bit nervous.

There are some people who love the expression… “Live life to the FULLEST, as you never know when your time is up.”  You see, the problem with ‘that kind of thinking’ is… there is always going to be a ‘tomorrow.’  Huh?  Yes, always a tomorrow.  For those who are dying TODAY…well, tomorrow…they’re either enjoying ‘life-everlasting with Jesus Christ’  …or…eternal hell in the company of their friend… satan.

Today is the day that I’m worried about…tomorrow will take care of itself.  Matthew 6:34 tells us… Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I KNOW… those kinds of clichés sound COOL to say… but, I would rather say …. “Live a Godly life and it will always be FULL.”

At my age…life is a bit like a “roll of toilet paper” …the closer it gets to the end of the roll… the faster it goes.  REMEMBER THIS:  Older people are not the only ones dying… rather… its people of all ages!  Check out the obituaries if you don’t believe me.

We are reminded of the words of Jesus, found in Mark 13:31-33 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. But as for that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.  Be on your guard and stay alert! For you do not know when the appointed time will come.…
