“…Avoiding the process of making decisions… could be the makings of a costly outcome…”

PROGRASTINATION: This would be one of the worst character flaws one could have…or, at least, in my opinion. We’ve all heard….the early bird gets the worm. When one drags their feet, and are unable to decide what to do; it’s often catastrophic, and too often, even debilitating.

I have a friend who purchased a house as an investment. They did nothing for several years, then finally, they gutted the kitchen and bathrooms. Since then, they have not been able to make the necessary decisions, as how to remodel the house, so they’ve NEVER done anything but paint the interior several times… and pay property taxes. That was 20 years ago. I’m “not kidding.” This is not a “made up story.”

Worst yet, you may lose the deal; the job opportunity, the girl next door, the raise you’ve been counting on, or the car you’ve always dreamed of…even, I might add; your life, or worse…your soul. Avoiding the process of making decisions… could be the makings of a costly outcome.

Some people “will never” get around to “accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.” They always think…I’ll do that next Sunday.” But “next Sunday” NEVER comes. Luke 9:59-60, tells us in very clear terms: To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father. “And Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”

Some things… you just don’t procrastinate about.
