CHOICE: Should I do this….or that? Choice is a gift that God has given man when He made us in His Image. We began the process of “choice” at a very young age. Small babies can be very “demanding,” as small children, teens, young adults…and then us…you and me; we all make choices…daily, and throughout the day.
Choice! Take advantage of the brains, skills, faithfulness, and the wisdom that God has given you to make the right choices. There are consequences to our CHOICE, rather we make the right choice… or the wrong choice.
Making the “right choices” seems to take care of itself. If we have made a wrong choice, and stare the consequences in the eye…we may think…quickly…how do I get out of this? If we find we’ve made the wrong choice, and recognize the error… then get out of Dodge! Right the Wrong, and move on to better Choices.
Very often… a simple…”I’m sorry” will correct the problem. However, if we took the North Exit…100 miles back, instead of the South Exit…then, WOW; we’re 200 miles out of our way, and a “simple apology” just won’t correct the problem.
Some “poor choices,” are just not FIXABLE. Marrying the wrong person is not an easy fix… for sure. Choosing the wrong Major in College…well, it can be fixed. Gambling away the “home equity,” on a whim…in Sin City…um…not an easy fix…NOPE!
Denying God…is a very bad choice. The permanent denial can be very hazardous… and very permanent…too. One BEST correct that “big error” ASAP… before the “lights get turned off.” God’s not going to wait around… for us to “smarten-up.” God “is not going to beg” us Love him; but He makes it clear that He wants us to Love Him; which is why He created us to begin with….to Love and Adore Him.
Each of us exercise great power in being able to make choices in our life. We have the choice of what kind of life we’ll live, and what type of person we want to be. We aren’t just a result of how our parents treated us or a product of our environment. We are a result of the choices we make every day.
We have the choice of choosing to follow Jesus, or to follow satan. One produces everlasting life with the Holy Trinity; the other guarantees eternal damnation. It’s our choice. This isn’t equitable with “which job you should accept.” Rather… it’s about where you want to spend eternity…and to whom you wish to spend it with.
Make this choice….as told to us in Proverbs 3:5:6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
