Do you live in a “fake house, have a fake job, or involved in a fake relationship?” Are you just a BIG FAKE? We all have been in out of these phenomena at one time or another in our lives, but, too often, we haven’t come to terms with it…yet. We’re still hiding in the closet. We haven’t come out to face the realities of life.
I’m talking about whatever it is that keeps us from facing the realities of life… regardless of what it is…business career; social climate, family issues…or spiritual concerns. Sometimes, it is simply a lack of confidence, the ability to make a sustained commitment; or something as simple as living, literally, in a FAKE house.
The kind of house that looks like a hurricane hit it 360 days a year…then about 5 times a year… you hire 10 people to come in and clean it out, only to start all over again, in a few days. Funny? I know, it may be funny for some…others…not so much. For some it’s their real life…and it’s in “total shambles.” They haven’t yet learned… to deal with their STUFF.
How about you (and me included)… Do we live in a fake house, a fake job, or involved in a fake relationship? Are we disparate to find peace in our life? We are told in …Philippians 4:6-7 – “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
If we are “looking for peace in our lives…instead of a “fake life,” then look for Jesus Christ. We are told in James 3:17 – But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
