“…Don’t be bashful.  Sometimes it is necessary to beat your own drum, particularly in larger corporate environments…”

RESPONSIBILITY:  There are several different forms of ‘accepting responsibility.’  There is the kind where someone will ‘step-forward,’ and volunteer for a project that no one else is willing to accept.  It could be organizing a luncheon after a funeral at your local church.  Or possibly a father volunteering to coach his son’s baseball team.  Or, even taking on as ‘work-related’ assignment that others are afraid to accept for fear of failing… thus, giving YOU an opportunity to showcase your own ‘leadership skills.’

Accepting responsibility is a sure sign that you are leadership material… no matter the form, the reason, or the consequence.  If you shrink back from responsible assignments…then forget progressing through the ranks of your career goals.

Sometimes, even, pushing your leadership skills into the system will gain the attention of management… which will help propel you ahead into a leadership role… maybe even, into opportunities that you never knew existed.  Don’t be bashful.  Sometimes it is necessary to beat your own drum, particularly in larger corporate environments.

Christ took on a ‘responsible’ leadership role… when he willingly obliged His Father in Heaven… when He died on the Cross for our sins…so that we might be saved from everlasting damnation.

We are told in John 3:16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus Christ accepted ‘responsibility’ for our sins; not just for Adam and Eve… but for all of man-kind.  He only asks, in return… that we BELIEVE in Him.  What are our responsibilities in this regard?
