FEAR: FDR said “We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.” There are many types of fear: fear of hurting one’s feelings, not accomplishing goals, losing the political race, not passing the test, a rejected marriage proposal. I caution those who lack fear in the common sense of the word, who often don’t recognize when “not to do something;” as lacking fear, often, will get you in hot water. That said, fear can be a good thing, as well. Fear may save you from a bad marriage, or the wrong job, or even keep you from doing something terribly wrong. Also, procrastination breeds fear. Psalm 34:4 “I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
