“… Hate is allowed because God gave us “free-will,” to do with…as we will…for good, or for bad…”

The closest thing to love is hate. Does it take the same amount of passion to love, as it does to hate?  I think it takes more PASSION to hate someone… then it takes to love them. I believe that both Love and Hate are natural emotions, gifted to us… by God; with LOVE being the more natural. We are told in Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.   Also in 1 John 4:8Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. And then in Psalm 97:10 – O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Finally, in Revelation 2:6Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

We are also told inProverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

It would seem then…. biblically speaking… that God is capable of HATE; and since we are made in His image, we are also capable of hate. God “allows hate,” just as he allows automobile accidents, etc. It doesn’t mean that he wants it to happen. Hate is allowed because God gave us “free-will,” to do with…as we will…for good, or for bad.

The problem is this: If we LOVE God (since God is Love), then we cannot HATE others …they just don’t mix. So… it we hate another child of God… then we must not Love God. Hate is manifested be accepting evil (satan)… we have turned our will towards evil….to the worldly processes.   1 John 5:19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. We have all heard that God loves the sinner, but hates the sin. Romans 5:8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ….so that we might have “life-ever-lasting.”
