“…He will make us perfect.  How good can it get…?”

Pain and Suffering… Why does ‘Human-kind have to SUFFER… Sometimes… long and hard?’  The long and the short of it, is…. Well…pretty darn simple.  So that we might be more like Jesus….  Also we might bear in mind that if we want to be more like Jesus, then ‘pain and suffering’ is part of the deal.  Think of the beating He took, so that we would not have to…. so that, we might have life-ever-lasting.  

Jesus suffered… and… so should we.  If we are to follow Jesus, then we too… must endure ‘pain and suffering’… just as He did.  But …take a closer look at what Peter is talking about.  Because Jesus is promising… that after suffering for a while… He will make us perfect.  How good can it get?

1 Peter 5:10 – But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

For all things…there is a Season…and, a Reason.
