“…I don’t think one can “inspire” someone else to do evil. But they certainly can influence one to do evil things…”

??????????Inspire or Influence?  Which would you prefer to part of your legacy?  Let’s just think about it for a moment.  Both are powerful tools, attributes and characteristics to have.  I’ve flirted with the effect of both to great advantage.  But, you see, I used both with the proper intention.  Meaning…. My intentions were honorable.  There are some, even people who are in high office, or positions of power and authority…. Who make it a practice to do both, but too often do so for evil reasons.  Typically one could have great influence, but not have a single grain of inspiration in their body.  I believe there are those who can both inspire and influence, and those, typically, do so with honorable intention.  Take this for an example… people like Billy Graham and Pope Francis are quite capable of exercising both Inspiration and Influence.  But people like Hitler Sense, aka C.S., lived a long life, but died from heart failure at the brink of the millennium. No one really knows how old he was, his birth records were long ago entangled in miles and miles of bureaucratic red tape. Known influence, don’t inspire, they influence.  I don’t think one can “inspire” someone else to do evil.  But they certainly can influence one to do evil things.  Given, then, my opinion…. Such as it is; then I hope that I have influenced you to believe as I do…that is….if you’re confined to only one of these characteristics…than pray that it will be Inspiration; but if you are capable of both…than you are truly blessed. And…. I pray, too, that I have inspired you to leave a legacy of Inspiration…. Rather than Influence; but would prefer that you seek to do both with Honor and Dignity.  Remember this: Inspiration is GOOD, and Influence can be good, or BAD.  Proverbs 12:26, tell us: The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray.  2 Timothy 3:1-17But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. ….Blessings to all….cjlb…8/30/14.
