“… I know when to hold, and I know when to fold….

20131104_082031HELP!  Ok…I admit it…I give up…I need your help.  Are you trying to say you’ve never been there?  Um…I have, and I’m better for it.  Admitting when you need help is solving half of the problem.  Accepting help is another forth, and following the help giver’s instructions is the other forth.  John Donne said, “No man is an island unto himself,” needs no further clarification here.  Two insights that I’ve always abided by are:  If  I can’t control an issue, I don’t allow myself to worry over it…I move on.  Another is: recognizing when I have exhausted my personal skill sets, and seek help from those more capable.  I KNOW when I can’t do something, and don’t waste time and money trying the impossible. I consider the wiser. That’s what experts are for.  I know when to hold, and I know when to fold.  Ephesians 4:29 – Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. …Blessings…cjlb
