I love STRUCTURE….and I love structures. To me, STRUCTURE implies boundaries. Structure is part and parcel of a “system.” The Universe would be a prime example, considering the patterns, configuration, and arrangement of all the pieces of the Universe System.
The “boundaries” I refer to are those structural formations that keep us “intact,” or in-place. If we flow out of our boundaries, then our structure is weakened, i.e. ….a swimming pool. Or, try pouring soup onto a flat plate. So it is in Business. We have to have STRUCTURE in our business environment, and therefore the pursuit, thereof.
If, for an example, we wish to seek elective office, or a business position that is filled by popular VOTE. We cannot go about haphazardly running for office. There must be a plan, an organization; all the pieces of the puzzle… the sum of its parts. This is true even when we seek higher education. Certain courses come before other courses, and when completed… you have STRUCTURE. I think that the “human-body” is the ultimate STRUCTURE….and Who…might be the Architect of that?
In fact, every element of society requires some degree of STRUCTURE. Even when we seek a relationship with God; it requires structure. In the Bible, we find all kinds of STRUCTURE, particularly in Numbers, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, and down the line…even Kings. 1 Corinthians 12:28 – And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.
The great thing about STRUCTURE is that it (should) makes everything else easier to accomplish. If everything we did, was without structure, and we simply went by the “seat-of-our-pants,” then, there would be very little accomplished….and very little SUCCESS.
