“If it can happen to the Chairman of GE, then it can happen to anyone.”

Forbidden “G’s” ….Gold, Glory, and Girls (guys).  I learned this early in my career.  However, I didn’t know, then, that there was a term for it, but today it’s called the FORBIDDEN-G’S:  Gold, Glory, and Girls (or guys).  Putting aside the moral aspects of this; when you get your priorities mixed up; it will come back to haunt you, sooner than later.  I’ve NEVER seen it fail.  Doing it (anything) just for the money, or just for the glory, or heaven forbid…a girl; spells doom.  Remember Jack Welch of GE.  If it can happen to the Chairman of GE, then it can happen to anyone; certainly all the juniors are subject to the same penalties as senior management.  And then, there was King David.  2 Corinthians 5:10 –  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.  1 Corinthians 10:31 – So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the Glory of God.      …Blessings…cjlb…12/6/13
