STRETCH-YOUR-LIMITS: If you have exceeded your limits, than simply move the limitation-line up a notch or two. One’s limitations… and, typically, are self-imposed, and are not usually shared. Therefore, we should push ourselves to the limits; set new limits, than push again…and again.
Good leaders don’t just quit being leaders…. they’re Leadership Role becomes limited, or diminished… usually because… they have stopped expanding their horizons…. they quit stretching their boundaries…. They quit reaching for the un-reachable.
If we are ever to become a “good leader,” than we should know no limits. We should…just keep stretching….and reaching; and never giving up.
We can, and should, set spiritual goals. Scripture tells us that God sets goals too. Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Once we reach a “certain level of understanding,” about God, about the bible teachings, then if we don’t “stretch our boundaries of learning” more about Him, then we become STALE, and un-responsive. “We must THIRST for a greater understanding,” and then, therefore, a greater LOVE and ADORATION.
There will be a day, when, we do not know… but God will start a “new heaven and a new earth,” and as told to us in Ephesians 1:10 – “Christ will be the head of everything in heaven and on earth!”
And don’t forget our friend Paul…who says, clearly 1 Corinthians 9:26 … “I do not run without a goal. I fight like a boxer who is hitting something—not just the air.”
