“…If we cannot speak well of these elements of our life; then we are probably working for the wrong company, representing the wrong product, and hanging around with the wrong crowd…”

Image result for caricature...sharing the gospelShare… and share alike.  We’ve all heard the kindergarten expression.  But… it’s still a good instruction… even for ‘seasoned adults’…. Like you and me.   The question of today… is:  What do you SHARE about yourself… about your career, your company or employer, your friends… and things about your family… with others?   Do you share anything… at all? If so…what?

If you do share, then…. Do you tell half-truths; no truth; or the whole truth?  You and I are “ordained” to tell the truth about what we do, what we say, what we hear… rather… about our company, about our family, or even… about Our God.

When we are hired into a job… it is expected that we speak well of our employer.  It is expected that we spread the word about our products, our co-workers, our friends, and our family.  If we cannot speak well of these elements of our life; then we are probably working for the wrong company, representing the wrong product, and hanging around with the wrong crowd.  And maybe, even… we idolize the wrong God.  Is it the God of Heaven, or the god of earth?

It is, primarily, because of this belief… the God of Heaven…. That I write these very words.  By nature, I am a loner, and… after almost 78 years…one could say it is also by choice… not chance.  I kept my relationship with God to my self… I didn’t share it.  Period.  Almost 5 years ago… I started began to chart a different course in life.  I was challenged… through Adrian Despray (Google him)…  who is my friend, my Bible study teacher, and more importantly… renowned, world-wide Evangelist…. Adrian challenged me… and others, one Thursday morning to… Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  – Matthew 28:19.

Admittedly, it took about six more months to realize that Adrian was talking about what God was expecting out of me….and until then… I was not willing to cooperate.  Not intentionally… In fact, I never make the connection… that I had a role to play in God’s plan… the plan He set out for me; before I was even in my Mother’s womb.  Both then, and now… some 4+ years later… I’ve not let up on my quest (His Plan for me)… to “spread and SHARE God’s word.”  For most of my Christian journey… I was only interested in saving my own soul, and NEVER once… considered that others may need help in finding Our Lord, Jesus Christ.   It is my mission… to help others find Jesus Christ.

BrOOKS-of-WISDOM…together with the role I play on LinkedIn, are the visible results of this commitment… made 5 years earlier.  God is NOT just talking to me… no, no… He’s talking to all of us.  And… if YOU are not listening, then I have a responsibility (Matthew 28:19) to SHARE the ‘Word of God’ with you.  We ALL have a responsibility to SHARE the Gospel.  The Lord expects this of us…in fact; He demands it.

The Apostle Paul commanded us in 1 Timothy 4:12… “Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

This is my story, and I’m sticking to it.  …Blessings… cjlb…2/20/17
