TOO IMPORTANT? So…you think you might be “important?” You know…a big shot. Often times we think we’re so important that we get too big for our pants…. It’s bound to happen…one time or another…to all of us. Well…it has to me…once or twice.
Things running smooth…life is good; money is pouring in; kids are doing well; and the wife has socially arrived. Then Bam-O…everything unravels; like a Ponzi-scheme. No…no… I’m not suggesting evil-doing, rather… it’s our stinking thinking… that is getting in the way of reality. If we don’t water and tend to the garden…it will get full of weeds. Then, one day we’ll wake up and all the “fruits of the garden” will be gone.

For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world.…
