Many are envious of others who have more, make more, take more, and then…on top of all their good fortune…they win $200 million in the Lottery. Why; we ask? Why them, and not me? It would be my guess…. if we knew what they had to do, in order to have accomplished those achievements…. to “have more,” then the rest of us. Then likely, we might’en not be so envious…after-all. We might… even, be sick to our STOMACH. We never know what “they” have on their plate; and, finding out….we might not want to trade places.
Don’t worry about “the others,” rather, focus on what you must do to succeed by “doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason.” In doing so….we won’t have time to worry about the other guy…evil or not. For starters… we need to FOCUS those aspects of our life that are “outstanding.” We need to take those attributes and make them “work for us.” One never knows… their SUCCESS is likely… just around the corner.
So, take you time, enjoy what you do well, enjoy your “own world,” ….and “your-day-will-come.” Psalm 27:14 – Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! 1 Peter 5:8 – Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Romans 12:2 – Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. John 14:15 – “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
Very likely… if we were to spend a week in the shoes of “anyone else,” we would want our own shoes back… Blessings..cjlb..5/17/15.
