Who would you like to spend four hours with, if you could choose “any living person” (excluding family), and why?
This is a real tough question, as having the opportunity to spend four hours with, say, Pope Francis, or Billy Graham would be fantastic. , there is the likes of Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, which would be pretty cool, as well. I’d like maybe to visit with Queen Elizabeth II, just to get into her mind.
Even as I write this, I am still perplexed as to who would be considered “that important” to me to want to spend four hours with. Because, after all… it’s my time, too….not just theirs. The only reason I’d want to spend four hours with anyone, would be to come out with something of great consequence that I didn’t go in with.
I’m thinking….who would want to spend four hours with me…I wonder? …Oh, I know…. probably… no one.
OK…here we go…I’m going with Bill Gates. Here’s the reason why I’d choose him. I’d spend about 2 hours with him…just shooting the bull… getting to know each other; feeling my way into his mind, his disposition… and his heart.
Then I would spend the next hour trying to convince him to let me meet with him, “again,” … in 30 days. I would take the “second meeting” to try and sell him on the idea to “fund those certain projects” that I’m fond of, and committed to. If he were to refuse to meet with me later, then I would likely draw the visit to a conclusion, leaving one hour on the table… so that he might wonder why I would leave early.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a tremendously well-funded foundation which, I’m sure, serves and funds, thousands of worthy projects each year, enough so, that Mr. Gates devotes almost all of his time to manage it, together with his wife. If given the opportunity… I would lobby him for about 20 million to help fund my projects.
