FAITH: If you lack faith in yourself. You’re DEAD on Arrival. In terms of your career, a particular project, your marriage…whatever you seek to accomplish… you likely will fail. If one lacks FAITH in themselves, their abilities to accomplish… they’re destined to failure. If they are even able to smell success, it will be short-lived.
If you lack FAITH in yourself… you are, therefore, unable to develop FAITH in those around you. It takes FAITH to feel secure with your co-workers, your social contacts, and assuredly … you family, and likely those who are your spiritual leaders. Faith is what allows you to move forward.
Usually, if you lack FAITH in yourself… it starts, because you ALSO, and MORE SO… lacked FAITH in God, and accordingly… you will fail…always. Sure… you may THINK you are succeeding… and to others, you actually may… but it’s because you have placed your FAITH in the evil one….in satan, the procurer of EVIL. It is satan who is letting you ‘taste the apple.’ And YES… the apple will taste good, and so will your TEMPORARY success. But when satan ‘has used you’ for his purposes… he’ll be ‘hell-bent’ on destroying you.
How does one tell the difference between success under the tutorship of God…and satan? Well, it’s like it is…always… if it’s too good to be true…then, it’s NOT TRUE. If you have any hesitation … then it’s the ‘evil one’ on the other end. If you have to ‘think about it’ it’s the evil one. If it seems ‘too hard,’ or requires some sacrifice, or requires you to take a ‘leap-of-faith,’ then you’re talking to Mr. Clean, to God, to Jesus, to the Creator. It’s not hard to tell the difference.
Pray… If we are confused about whether or not we are hearing from God, or satan…then, it is good to pray for wisdom (James 1:5). We should ask God to make His will clearly known. When we pray, we “must believe and have ‘no doubt’… because those who have doubts is like a “wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind” (James 1:6). If we have no faith, we “should not expect to receive anything from the Lord” (James 1:7).
The BOTTOM-LINE… you MUST believe in yourself, and believe in God, if you expect to succeed.
1 Corinthians 13:13 – Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
