“… It’s an unfortunate day, when we withhold situations from our Spouses…”

20131123_214932Are we holding back “anything” from our employer, our wife, or friend?  Do we have a hidden agenda, that is only revealed, maybe even partially, when we think the time is ripe, or appropriate…maybe not ever.  Are we being selfish on purpose? Or, are we being deceitful?  Sometimes we hold back the “extra” abilities, or skills, that we process, hoping that we can yield a better profit on them at a later date.  Are we giving what our employers are paying for?  Our employer deserves the full benefit of “all of our skills and talents.”  He is paying for all that we know, and are capable of doing.  If you think that you should be paid more for certain skills, time, or expertise that was not part of the originally negotiated service; then you have only to bring the  discrepancy to his attention; and accept his decision; otherwise, you always have the option of resigning.  If we feel “short-changed” then, that too, should not be HELD-BACK.  It’s an unfortunate day, when we withhold situations from our Spouses, not to mention the potential marital issues likely to arise.  Then, of course, there is our relationship with God.  Are we holding back “anything” from God?  We can make claims of serving Him, but fail to serve others.  We can claim to love Our Savior, but fail to love our neighbor.  We can say we are sorry, to God, but we fail to repent.  We fail to change.  We fail to surrender. Let us remember in Revelations 2:4, it is said: But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. ‘Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place– unless you repent.… …Blessings…cjlb…4/22/14
