“…It’s not too late. So… it’s important to let everyone know your feelings…”

Twilight time is here …the party is over. One chilly morning… my spouse will wake to the empty warmth of our bed… knowing I’m gone…. Never to return. No more hugs, no special moments, no more words of wisdom. What we care for, most in life… is gone before we could say a proper good-by.

While we can, while the clock is still ticking… we can love it, we can fix it…even though it’s broken… and even, heal it when it’s sick. Tis true for marriage, old cars, children with bad grades, dogs with bad hips, aging parents….and even, and our …spiritual well-being.

Keep them because they’re worth it; like a best friend who moved… or an excess son-in-law…left over after a divorce. Life is important, like people… who are special, we keep them close, or we can… if we choose!

One day… you will not be awakening…does everyone know how you feel…those that count positive in your life?  Have you left words…unsaid? Trips not taken? Wounds not yet healed? Promises not kept? Forgiveness withheld?

We can take courage in Psalm 27: 10-14 ….I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.

Today…it’s not too late. So… it’s important to let everyone know your feelings. So, for those who really care, and just in case… I’m gone tomorrow, then rest assured, I did not vote for you know who…
