Leadership Responsibility: All Leaders have a responsibility to Lead… not astray, but on the straight and narrow. Leaders should be aware that they are being watched, listened to, talked about, and seldom praised. That is the “nature of the job.”
We are told, clearly, in EPHESIANS: 4:29 – Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Now….would not the average, wannabe leader, recognize that being a LEADER is an awesome responsibility, and one not to be taken lightly; even by the most advanced and sophisticated Leader. Such is not always the case.
All Leaders have a RESPONSIBILITY to lead their constringency along the “high road,” teaching them, not only, the basics of their job and careers, but the character traits of LEADERSHIP, the least of which would be “good moral character, integrity, and all aspects of the Golden Rule.”
Titus 1:7-14 – For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach. …
