Learn to do what you don’t want to do – but is necessary. I remember in the very beginning of my career, while take Accounting 101, and then 102; I couldn’t stand it. But, upon on completion of the courses, I realized that this is where the MONEY was for me. I did what I didn’t want to do…all for the money. Sound BAD? Well maybe, but the fact is…I learned to LOVE it; because… I didn’t want to spend my entire career doing something I hated, just so I’d make more money. I adapted. Accounting served me well; moving up the ranks over the next 15 years, from Accounting Clerk to CFO. To this day, I live, eat, and breath …numbers. I love it. Thanks be to God; He gave me the skills and the tools to do what had to be done.
