PROVERBS 19:20 – Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it. Well…it must not be! I’ve been involved in BUSINESS COUNSELING for many years; and find that, in too many cases…people just don’t like taking advice, thinking they know better…even when theypay big bucks; only to be told otherwise. The reason I think it is, people don’t like the idea of “dealing with reality.” If they run a sloppy shop; they don’t like someone pointing out their weaknesses; hence they don’t want to accept DISCIPLINE (corrective-measures). I’m not one to tip-through-the-tulips, so I give them a giant dose of corrective measure. Not everyone pays attention; but, I’ve also found that when they do pay attention, and follow the corrective measurers, that (in my own experience) they find renewed success. Blessings …cjlb…12/14/13
