“…Many years ago, I accepted that God made me the way that I am for a reason…”

Which slot do you fit in?  Are you a square peg …trying to fit into a round hole?  I’ve had this problem all of my life, even until this day.  Where do I fit in?  Or, how can I fit in?  Many years ago, I accepted that God made me the way that I am for a reason (um…in His Image), and I would deal with the cards He gave me.  I struck out on my own…sort of speaking.  I am a non-conformist by nature, and in fact.  I decided that I didn’t want to force myself to fit where I didn’t fit, or where I wasn’t wanted.  In fact, one of my favorite bible verses is found in…Mark 6:11“Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them.”   I live by that verse.  I remember one time sending it to the members of my local City Council.  I believe that if you live by the Golden Rule, abide by appropriate ethics and morals, follow the Ten Commandments, be committed to Our Lord God, believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, work hard, protect and provide for your family….then… all the other “stuff” will fall into place.  It’s, relatively, a simple process.  I’m not saying that I’ve been successful at following my own advice, but I try very hard.  I added another important bible verse to my “most important list,” about two years ago, and that verse has changed my life….forever.  Matthew 28:19 – Go ye there, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  And, another: Mark 16:15 – And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  These two verses are what set me on the mission to develop “BrOOKS-of-WISDOM,” and is the very reason that I write these words today.  A friend of mine reminded me, just today, that in Joshua 1:9, God says:  “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  The fact is …God provides what we need… not what we want.  Blessings…cjlb…6/7/14
