“…My point, here, is not to add insult to their injury, as ‘everybody’ is REDEEMABLE…”

Image result for caricature of a "fallen leader"FALLEN LEADER: If being a successful Leader was so easy, then we would all be one. Leadership is hard. Leadership is demanding. Leadership is wisdom. Leadership can be rewarding. Leadership can also be devastating. When a Leader falls….he/she will fall HARD.   Do you want to be a Leader?

We’ve had “fallen leaders” since the beginning of time. The degree by which they fail…of course, is the variable. You have the EXTREEM ends of the spectrum, i.e., Judas, one of Jesus’s chosen few… failed miserably. On the other end… Bill Clinton, failed to lead the “moraility” of our country… but in the long run… was ELEVATED to International Glamor… all for seducing an Intern, and then you have Nixon, who while a good President, failed on ethics, and “went down in shame.”  America is running in the footpath of the Fallen Roman Empire, with “the clinton’s,” and “our celebrity saints,” leading the PACK. …..Lord, Help Us.

Other fallen LEADERS range from Jimmy Swaggart, Ted Haggard, and Jim Bakker… to General David Patraeus, Bernie Madoff, Senator John Edwards, and Eron’s Ken Lay…. With “many notable additions.” At least, the “little leaders,” like you and me….when we SCREW up… not many know, affected, or care. Defamation comes in the dark of the night, when we least expect it….. even, for the little guys…. You and me.

My point, here, is not to add insult to their injury, as “everybody” is REDEEMABLE, and from the perspective of Jesus Christ dying on the Cross for “our sins,” we all have been REDEEMED … by the “blood of Christ.” There are tons of “super-leaders” who CHOOSE not to “continue in their leadership” conquest… simply, because they don’t want to put themselves, their families, their assets, and friendships…at continued RISK…and lose …ALL. Those that do… choose POWER, money, fame, and IDOLATRY…. Over WISDOM and potentially…SALVATION. And, all of these, so-called, “worldly assets” will be gone in a flash.

We are told in Matthew 22:37-39And He said to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ “This is the great and foremost commandment. “The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” Failing to put God first carries with it… big RISK. …Blessings…cjlb.6/6/15.
