WORRY, WORR Y, WORRY…what to do? My Father used to say, jokingly, that his Mother had always told him, coming up as a youngster, that he was too dumb to worry about anything. I’ve always, kind’a, thought that might be the case with me; maybe not dumb so much , as BLESSED. I feel that I’ve been very blessed, as typically, I don’t let anything worry me; and I NEVER get depressed. I have a unique capability to quickly survey the facts, and determine my ability to change the outcome of the situation; and if I can gain control, then I get busy trying to fix the problem. If I determine that it’s out of my control…then, I forget it, deal with the consequences, and move on to the next crisis. I’m not trying to minimize other people’s WORRY habits; rather, just point out the way I deal with crisis, by NOT worrying. REMEMBER: Worrying doesn’t solve anything, but GOOD PLANNING will alleviate a lot of worry. Some people like to worry; in fact, they do it all the time; and the reason is…they have too much time on their hands….solution to worry: Get Busy! God has provided us a way of dealing with worry…Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. – Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through him who strengthens me. – John 14:27 –Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. It is not as the world gives that I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not let it be afraid.…Blessings…cjlb..10/23/13
