“…Repent, Reveal, Appeal, Conceal, Convert, Conversion, Divert, Depart, Examine, Humility, and Confession…”

Repent, Reveal, Appeal, Conceal, Convert, Conversion, Divert, Depart, Examine, Humility, and Confession:  What do these words have in common; and how

Conceal - Reveal - Repent

Conceal – Reveal – Repent

do they possibly apply to me personally, professionally, and spiritually?  All the words, and corresponding meanings, either apply, or can apply to EVERY phase of our life… personal, business, pleasure, and spiritual.  As they apply; we are either examining our conscience, admitting or confessing our infraction, or conversely concealing it all.  Then, hopefully, we are converting, diverting, and departing from such infractions(s), and then repenting, and promising to do our best to not repeat the issue.  It is a process by which we deal with our weaknesses, passed on to us by Adam and Eve, so that we might be more closely aligned to those we have offended, and with Our Lord God Jesus Christ.  We all know what we have to do; it is just the painful process of dealing with it. Christians go before God with a humble heart to confess their sins before Him. Humility is a vital part of this process, and the restoration of Christians to righteous.  1 Peter 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” …Blessings… cjlb… 12/10/13
