“…Serious leaders don’t sit around waiting…they get busy…”

Nothing happens until we SPEAK-UP. If you’re waiting on someone else to do your speaking, then you’re in for a long wait.

For me: I’m not one to sit around waiting for something to happen. I’ve always been the aggressor. My job is to make it happen. Not bragging…it’s just a characteristic that God gifted me with; and I use it accordingly. God has given me certain SKILLS and it’s my duty to use them according to His will.

Serious leaders don’t sit around waiting…they get busy. When working on a project, I don’t compromise negotiating skills just to get a project moving; instead, I rely on strategy to fuel the project. You can Google “aggressor” and draw your own conclusions as to what it means.

It does not fit my scenario. I’ll make no effort to intimate anyone…to force, or to scare. Likewise, I don’t sit around, idly, waiting for events to unfold by others in command, or those who seek control.

Here’s one example: Once, I was associated with a $100 Million company who had lost its national franchise. I was brought in my senior management… to save the company, and regain the franchise. I don’t deny I utilized some unusual techniques, but I didn’t employ the “killer mode,” rather, I use the “convincing mode.”

My job was to convince National that returning the franchise to the company was in the best interest of both the national and the state-wide organization. Although this proved to be an “almost-impossible task,” I was blessed with the help of many others; it was a success… regaining the franchise in just 18 months. Five years later, the business sold for Millions of dollars, where on the day they lost the franchise… it had zero value.

We are told in Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, “If you can! All things are possible for one who believes.”

As a “side-note,” there was not a single day, or a single meeting that was held…throughout the entire process… that we failed to invoke the “blessings of Almighty God.” We asked for, and received His Blessings throughout the process. We gave CREDIT…where CREDIT was due. Thanks be to God.

Luke 11:9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
