I interrupt TIDBITS-of-WISDOM today, so as to pay respect to three, long-time, and dear family friends, who passed away this week. One did not seek or receive stardom, yet, she was a “shining star” to all those who knew her. She was not rich in what she had, but was rich in beauty, and rich in that she had no material or earthly needs, for all were provided by her Lord. She loved Jesus Christ, and humbled herself to the Lord. Another was well polished, loved by all who knew him, achieved noted success; was very giving to all; was well-known to give encouragement to all around him, very loving, and was humbled before his Lord. The third, just celebrated his 90th birthday party last Saturday, amongst many of his friends and loved ones. By all accounts, he should have died several years earlier with multiple cancerous issues. He was a high achiever, highly respected friend and businessman, had much to show for it; but gave far more back to his family, friends, and others in need. He, too, was humbled before his Lord. God Bless the Soul and Families of JoAnn, Richard, and Steve…May they rest in peace. Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. …Blessings…cjlb…11/17/13
