BE PREPARED…know your subject…know your company, know your boss, and for goodness sake… know your wife. Be prepared. To know more about your senior management, your employer, you product, and your family… better prepares you for SUCCESS in any regime.
Failing in any of these categories results in limited achievement. Some women, as an example… claim to have NEVER really known their husbands. Men, on the other hand… for some man reason… don’t seem to know it…or even care. Rather you call it being prepared, or being committed…they go hand in hand… one and the same. One does not further the cause without the other.
Can you imagine getting married, settling down, and don’t really know your spouse? You know… the one who helps you through the cracks in the wall…called life. The one who helps raise the children, preparing them for this life and the next…yet what can be expected if you only knew them 3 months before getting married.
Or, more likely… the job you took, because you miss-represented you knowledge (I don’t care what Sir Richard Branson says) of their product, or your skill-sets…now, you’re in over your head, and drowning in failure.
Then there is our spiritual side, where we accept Jesus as being the Lord God. And, really… we just know about Him… instead of really… KNOWING Him… as Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. The more we know about God Jesus, the better relationship we’ll have with Him, the better dialogue, the stronger faith, and the better prepared to serve and defend.
We can read God’s resume… easily…as it’s all it the bible. Read it and believe it. We can open up a dialogue with God, anytime… by reading His word. Matthew 13:15-17 – “For the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return, and I would heal them. “But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
We can “talk to God” anytime, as well… simply by praying to Him… Unceasingly. Matthew 21:22 – And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
