“Standout….or blend into the wall….”

I love Charleston……

STANDOUT:  I want to be noticed. If I’m not, then I may as well not be in the room. I carry myself in such a way, as when I walk into a room, I want to be noticed.  I don’t want to walk in first; rather, I want to walk in last.  I dress such that I’m noticed.  When I say something…it better be good; as I want “it” to be noticed.  I worked 60 hours per week, when all others worked 35-40.  I know…you’re thinking I’m stuck on myself, or something, and I understand.  Believe this, though, my strategy has worked well for over the last 50 years.  I started out in the business world behind the 8-ball.  With little formal education, a bit of a wall-flower, mysterious, soft spoken; the type easily bullied in today’s society.  I HAD to develop a strategy to overcome all of my shortcomings, but, I don’t recommend my style to anyone.  It worked for me, but may not for you. CAUTION:  When you STANDOUT, you must be careful, because your “fair-game” for emulating your style, or ridiculing you for being different, and jealous people will be out to get you.  Romans 12:2 –  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. …Blessings…cjlb…9/2/13
