“… This goes beyond just APPEARANCE; as actually, it’s a case of basic integrity…”

Image result for caricature of man exaggeratingThey’s-a-Exaggeratin! Now, why would anyone want to exaggerate… on anything… obviously, to suit their own agenda? I think we all exaggerate, to a degree, but won’t admit it.

Think about it, just for a moment….and you’ll realize that even our own Government leaders EXAGGERATE… when informing the American Tax Payer about employment statistics, the IRS scandal, Bengasi issue, economic factors, Gun Control, and the NSA issue, etc. Then there are the Major Corporations who exaggerate their financial status, ROI, profits/losses, and all for self-serving reasons.

And then, we common folks…well, we are GUILTY of exaggerating our weight, hair color, physical attributes, age, education, career, our financial status, and an array of other self-serving exploits. All of this goes beyond just APPEARANCE; as actually, it’s a case of basic integrity.

We are a dishonest people, and we got that way because God gave us free will… yielding to satan, rather than God. And, because we choose options that serve our interests, (as we measure the circumstances). And, when we choose our interests over that of our fellow man, and for the “glory of God,” then we compromise our relationship with God…. And there is a consequence to our poor choices.

We all know right from wrong… and choosing the high road… trumps the alternative. For me, I plead the 5th. Psalm 120:2 Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.
