“…Too often, being over confident gives a false impression of pending success…”

Are we listening? Are we comprehending? Are we OBEYING?

CONFIDENCE: I’ve always been a bit overly confident, and it’s worked well for me… at least…so far. There can be a fine line between being confident, over-confident, and being arrogant; a bit of all… adds a charm to one’s success. One must balance these ingredients, less they create a negative effect. The negative effect being…ARROGANCE; which overshadows one’s true skills and good intentions.

Confidence is also an attribute… that might be a bit more genetic than one may think, but more so, a product of hard work, careful preparation and execution; a shade of dare-devil-ness, and a little Heavenly intervention. For the most part… I don’t think being “a bit over confident” has ever sent anyone to the grave.

Too often, being over confident gives a false impression of pending success. I advocate just being ones-self. And… if an over-abundance of CONFIDENCE is the “same as” being one’s self…then let the “chips fall where they may, because being honest with one’s self is the most important part of the process. Proverbs 28:1 says: “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
