JUSTICE: I want what’s fair and reasonable. I want JUSTICE …and, I want it NOW! Good luck on that one. One might think this a racial issue; a law and order issue; maybe an equal job or career opportunity gone awry. All apply.
The JUSTICE issue that I address here – is one of “justice in the workplace.” Has one, perhaps wrongly, been accused, say, of sexual harassment? Or maybe, misappropriation of funds; possibly breach of trust involving trade secrets; or even worse ……. alleged threats against someone. Today… the possibility would include some type of terrorist’s activity.
All of these are practicable, probable, and presumable. Too often… for fear of retribution, these accusations are seldom, if ever, are proven to be correct, or adjudicated…as it should be; …rather, and unfortunately…they’re swept under the rug…leaving the accused dangling in a cloud of suspicion; not to be forgotten.
Leviticus 19:15 tells us… Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
REMEMBER: Things are not always as they appear.
In today’s society; too many are falsely accused, and too many get away with what they should be arrested for. We find this type of JUSTICE, or in-justice… far in wide…in the workplace, in our own government…and worse yet… in our churches.
We have some “yelling RAPE”… when none has occurred; and then we find rape rampant (in some segments of society, i.e. “the military”), and the guilty are NEVER properly adjudicated.
REMEMBER: John 8:6-8 – They were saying this, testing Him, so that they might have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground. But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.…
