“…We all have choices in life… we can take the high road to Glory, or the low road to evil…”

Why is it important to do your job correctly the first time, and each time?   Why is it important to “always do the right thing?”  1. First impression are important; you may not get another opportunity to leave a good first impression.  2. Management will judge you by your performance.  3. It will enhance your career.   4. It will enhance your health.  5. You will be setting a good example for others to emulate.  6. Following good ethical and moral standards is important to your future.  And, rather you believe, or not, it will have an effect on where you spend eternity.  Galatians 6:7-16Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.  Some years ago, I had an opportunity to lease a building that my “normal rate” was $2000 per month.  I was offered $6000 per month; and the use of the building was to be a business that was, while not illegal, but immoral, and one that went against my own standards.  The money was, of course, tempting…but I was not willing to sell out to satan.  About two months later, I was brought a contract on 30 acres of land for $660K, that I had paid $190K for just 3 years earlier.  It is my belief that God rewarded me for submitting to His will.  2 Chronicles 15:7But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”  We all have choices in life… we can take the high road to Glory, or the low road to evil.  Blessings… cjlb… 5/21/14.
