FATHER’S: Most of us learn much from our Fathers. Our Father’s role is to teach all the “good things” in life that we should know… in order to succeed, and to become good, faithful, courageous, honest, and law abiding citizens, with upstanding morals. Had it not been for those same attributes stored in my Mother’s fourth husband, I would have had little indoctrination to them, but because my Stepfather made sure that I was taught the appropriate ABC’s of life… I was able to pass those same attributes on to my own children, incidental to my own DNA.
My natural Father left our family home when I was five; a MIA for some 50 years, then re-appearing when I was about 55, and died about 10 years later. I don’t know what I got out of his DNA; I only know who I am, today, and that he lives on in me, in some form. We cannot escape our heritage, it is what it is.
However, we control what we do with our inherited DNA, and those developed skills, education, and other God-Given attributes. Do we waste these talents, or do we enhance their effect for the Honor and Glory of God; and pass those on to our children, and hopefully to those other we may have influence? We not only have the DNA of our parents and forefathers, but more importantly …of God, as we are made in His Image.
And, because He made us in His own Image; as told to us in Genesis 1:27 – Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our Image, according to Our Likeness. He will hold us accountable, as to “what we do with His DNA.
