“…We found ourselves prostituting our bodies, our soul, and our very HEART….”

"...What is the STATUS of your heart....?"

“…What is the STATUS of your heart….?”

What is the status of our Heart?  Wouldn’t it be an interesting scenario if everyone, or maybe, just our Boss, or our Spouse, could KNOW the status of our Heart?  Too many of us, mind you…not all, go through our ENTIRE lives doing no more that the minimum…just enough to pass our school tests, just enough to get in, and get out of college, and we make the minimum commitment to make our marriages work, and just enough to get our job done.  But then….all heck breaks loose.  We’re found out that we’re nothing but a FRAUD.  Everybody knew we were just… “Mr. Minimum” ….but seeming…that fact slipped by ourselves.  Our spouses knew we did nothing around the house, never washed the car, seldom…and only after a fight, did we cut the yard.  There was NEVER enough money left over to take a vacation, do special things for our children, or enjoy some of the refinements of life.  And NEVER anything left over for God.  Not just because we didn’t have the money….but because we NEVER went to Church.  We NEVER taught our Children to KNOW God.  We NEVER took on the role of Spiritual Leader in the house-hold, much less the “head of the family” role.  So, the bottom fell out…we lost our job, we lost our family, then the car, and then the un-employment ran out.  We found ourselves prostituting our bodies, our soul, and our very HEART.  We were selfish, lazy, and frankly….good for nothing; and still, we blame everyone but ourselves.  Do you know anyone like that?   Um….I did…and still do.  The PROBLEM starts with not KNOWING God on a personal level.   Too often, we think that having a “relationship with God” suffices, but it does not.  We MUST have a “fellowship,” and we can have one. Through the GRACE of God, He gave us His only begotten Son…to die on the cross, for our SINS, so that we might have life EVERLASTING.  In John 3:16, it says – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And in return, He asks only this: “Lord Jesus Christ,I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.  Thank you, Lord Jesus.  …Blessings…cjlb.8/26/14.
