Attitude vs Altitude: I ALWAYS combine these two words whenever thinking or applying them. I want my ATITUDE to be FLYING-HIGH. My attitude “is my high.” My attitude is my Altitude! I am a morning person, and have a definite routine that I go through. I don’t start the day in NEUTRAL, rather, I’m in high-gear from the get-go.
I’m very organized (my own opinion). I’m pretty much set in my ways… not necessarily…inflexible…I just don’t change easily. Our ATTITUDE is in our CONTROL. I firmly believe that our future is determined by our “current thoughts.”
If we have a negative attitude; then how can we have a positive future? A POSITIVE ATTITUDE yields a “positive-future.” It’s all very simple. Our status in life… our friends, our career, our success, and our future is all dependent on “our attitude.” High or low…. Good or bad. Rotten attitude=rotten future!
We MUST choose to be happy, to be positive, and to be joyful. It’s our CHOICE. God made us in His Image, and since God is a POSITVE GOD; He has passed His DNA on to us in the most positive way…. Through the Holy Spirit. God does not intend for us to be negative. We ALLOW our minds to be set in, either, a POSITIVE default, or a NEGATIVE one. Negatives will make you un-healthy.
Look around… check out the people who are always negative, and you’ll see an un-healthy person. Get up… put a spring in your strut. EXPECTING to feel good, to feel positive, to be… and feel at your best. Dress for, and play the part. If you dress in a negative attire, then you’re destined to have a negative day. I guarantee that I can tell a happy vs a sad person, simply by the way he dresses for the day’s events.
Psalm 112:4 – When darkness overtakes the godly, light will come bursting in. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. I don’t suggest that bad things don’t happen to good people… because they do… we all know that to be true. But, remember; all steps in life are part of the path of life that God has mapped out for us.
Consider the “steps” in the life of Joseph…. Going from prisoner to the King’s Administrator over all of Egypt. Those negative steps were part of the path to the life that God has planned for Joseph. The same can be said for Daniel… whom the King loved. When Daniel was thrown into the den with 100 lions… God closed the mouth of the lions, saving Daniel. When the King saw that he was alive, he converted to the God of Daniel. Joseph, Daniel… and I…have positive attitudes. If you don’t now… then you can develop a positive attitude… should you so wish. When we allow God to fulfill His plan for us, by having a POSITIVE-ATTITUDE, then we will find that success, joy, and happiness… that is always just around the corner…. When we think POSITIVE.
