Have you ever wondered WHY non-believer gets ahead in life, career, sports, and their social life? And, then, the “believer” is just “getting by?”
The non-believer seems to have everything that we want…oops; did I say that? Well, that might be the beginning of the problem. We want what “he has,” instead of deserving what we would like to have. In Proverbs 14:23 – “All hard work pays off. But if all you do is talk, you will be poor.” This scripture does not say that “all hard work done by “Christians” will pay off……rather, it just says all hard work pays off…so this would be good for everyone…both the believer and the non-believer.
There is plenty of time to “play,” but more often, we only get “one chance” for our hard work to match our rewards. God gives each of us a certain amount of “seeds.” These seeds are talent, opportunity, and a brain with which to think and create. It is up to us to synchronize all of those talents, such, that they will reap a benefit. We are also given the ability to “control” those fruits. It is up to us…each of us…to plant the seed, water it, and take those fruits to use for good, and good will come from it.
God is “helping everybody.” The “believer” is given, in addition to the initial gifts, the satisfaction that his “works” are PLEASING to God. With that, he will build “reward” in Heaven. 1 Corinthians 3:11-14 – Divisions, Contrary ToFor no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 1 Corinthians 3:8 -Reward, DivineUnified People Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 2 Corinthians 9:6 – ThriftCultivationAgriculture, Qualities NeededReapingReward, DivineSeedNow this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. \
Think about this: Non-believers have the exact same God that believers have….they just don’t realize it…but they will. …Blessings… cjlb…1/5/15
