“TIME is of the ESSENCE.”
A days ALLOTMENT: If we’re blessed…God will allot us 86,400 seconds each day of life; which translates into 1440 minutes, or 24 hours each day. At the end of the day, all seconds, minutes and hours are gone; never to return. And, so it goes the next day.
We humans are only allotted “just so many days, months, or years.” We don’t know how many. Some have a lot, some not so much…some…just a very few. And, all most all…. More than we deserve.
The QUESTION is: What do we do with our allotted time of 86,400 seconds each day? The PROBLEM is this: God can take away those 86,400 seconds at any time He wishes…without warning, without notice…without regard…there are “no-boundaries,” and no-one escapes. How will you spend your “precious time” on earth?
The SOLUTION is: Enjoy every second of every day, because time disappears faster that we realize… so SLOW DOWN a bit… enjoy God’s gift…be yourself…be happy…love one another…enjoy life, and try to live by the Golden Rule; and your CAREER, your social life, and even your family… will take care of itself.
The PROTECTION Plan: If you want to “secure your future,” then INVEST in a “relationship with Jesus Christ.” If we believe that He died on the cross for our sins, if we CONFESS our sins, and if we REPENT, and try very hard to “do better,” then…we will have “life-ever-lasting” with Him.
We are told in John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:36 – He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Romans 8:1-2 – There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
