“…What do we do with our allotted time of 86,400 seconds each day…?”

Time - Clock - Flying - 11-15-14A day’s ALLOTMENT: Just “another one of God’s Gifts.” God allots us 86,400 seconds each day of life on earth; which translates into 1440 minutes, or 24 hours each day. At the end of the day, all seconds, minutes and hours are gone; never to return. And, so it goes the next day.

The QUESTION is: What do we do with our allotted time of 86,400 seconds each day? Ecclesiastes 3:1-8For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.

The PROBLEM is: God can take away those 86,400 seconds at any time He wishes…always without warning. Matthew 24:37-39 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

The SOLUTION is: Enjoy every second of every day, because time disappears faster that we realize, so SLOW DOWN, and enjoy God’s gift…be yourself…be happy…love one another… enjoy life, and try to live by the Golden Rule; and your CAREER will take care of itself.          1 Peter 4:9-11 – Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
