Genesis 19:17 – When they had brought them outside, one (an angel of God) said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you, and do not stay anywhere in the valley; escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away.” It makes no difference rather it has to do with work and career, play-time and social, family-time and personal …there is always…. right and wrong. It is always our choice. You can ask yourself four simple questions: 1) Is it profitable? Does it help others, is it up-lifting, and is it honorable? 2) Is it addictive? Will it ultimately hurt yourself, or others? Will we end up placing “it” above God? 3) Does it hurt others? Is anyone being hurt by our decision, or actions? 4) Does it give glory to God? Does our action ultimately serve God, give Him Glory, and does it serve others, in His name? If, by doing this deed; it is profitable, it’s not addictive, and doesn’t hurt anyone else, AND it gives Glory to God……then, do it. All will be well. The bible say it well in 1 Corinthians 10:31 – “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” That means if you are going to set some goals, they need to be goals that bring glory to God. It is simple as that; yet, we humans make it complicated because we are not willing to surrender to God; because we don’t have time for God; because we have closed the door on Him. …Blessings…cjlb…2/02/14
