“…As a Leader, if you’re not willing to “get your hair wet, take chances, and to walk-on-the-edge,” then… you’ll likely come in last…”

Image result for caricature of man dancing in the rain     Dance in the Rain, or wait for the sun to come out…which to do? The guy who learns to “dance in the rain,” is the guy who beats out the guy who is “waiting for the sun to come out.” Are you a “fair-weather-man?” If so… you’re going to come in last. As Leaders; we MUST know how to “dance in the rain.” We must know how to do “those things” that the competition, or the other guy, doesn’t know how to do…. Or doesn’t want to do.

As a Leader, if you’re not willing to “get your hair wet,” then you’ll likely come in last every time. If you’re not willing “to take chances” then you’ll likely come in last. If you’re not willing to “walk-on-the-edge,” then, you’ll likely come in last. If you don’t have the “killer instinct,” then again, you’ll likely be coming in last.

As Leaders, we MUST be “prepared” for any event. We can NEVER let our guard down. The Leadership role is not for the “faint-of-heart.” Being a LEADER is DEMANDING… as there is always someone waiting in the wings to take your place.

It’s no different in SPORTS, the ARTS, the BUSSINESS community, or in a RELIGIOUS environment. If we don’t have our guard up… the devil will get a “foot-hold,” and we’ll soon be OUT-OF-BUSINESS. Lucifer doesn’t have any rule-book to go by… he is always prepared to seize his opportunity at our “weak moments.” If Lucifer is so “brazen” to TEMPT Jesus… then we….. well, we are easy-prey. We are “dead-meat.”

Satan is like a hunter stalking his prey.  We are that prey, and he knows that the only way to get us is to get us to turn our back on God and His protective care.  Satan is very cunning, and NEVER gives up.

1 Timothy 6:9-10 – But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.
