“… How do you feel after doing this for 60 years?” “Like I’m talking to a wall….”

….Today, I beg God’s Mercy on America; to forgive us of our Sins, and Grant us Life everlasting. And Dear God, when we go to our offices, our playgrounds, our schools, our halls of justice and government, and our Houses of Worship….please let us find YOU, Our Heavenly Father, there to PROTECT us from the evils that plaque our society, that challenge our Freedom, that throw our children’s future in doubt, that hasten the death of our Seniors, and quash our Religious Freedom…help us Lord and protect us from our own selfish greed… and the worst moral decay since the fall of the Roman Empire.  …..Thank You for all of our many blessings.

PRAYER:   Having heard of a man who had been going to the Western Wall to pray twice a day for years; a reporter went to the Wall and found him praying; he approached as he was leaving; “Pardon sir, I’m Bob Troy from CNN. Your name is?” “Morris Feinberg,” he said. “Sir, how long have you been coming to the Western Wall?” “About 60 years.” “What do you pray for?” “I pray for peace between the Christians, Jews and Muslims; for war and hatred to end; for our children to grow up as responsible adults loving their fellow man; that politicians be truthful and put the interests of the people ahead of theirs.” The reporter, then asked, “How do you feel after doing this for 60 years?” “Like I’m talking to a wall.”

Let us, then, rely on …. James 1:6-7 –  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

NOTE:  Today’s posting marks number 730 consecutive “daily postings.”  The last two years have been quite an experience for me, and hopefully, for a few of you, at least.  I’ve NEVER been at a complete loss for subject matter; and hopefully, I’ll have a few more to go before I either get “run-off,” or I find myself of “no useful value” in the market place.   I “admit,” though, sometimes I feel that I’m not making “much head-way,” but I keep pushing forward, because (just as I preach), I’m not “giving up.”  My purpose, I believe, is “divinely inspired,” and as long as I keep getting the occasional word of encouragement…I’m not quitting.

So, my friends……BLESSINS to you all, and thank you, so very much, for “following me along the road.”  ….cjlb…7/15/15
